Hi there, visiting from the Kids Co-Op. I love this post. You've included lots of unique and original "tools" to paint with. An onion bag?! Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Ann! Thrilled to be an inspiration!
DeleteOh, how fun!! I love the discovery and the tools she is using! Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! I am honored that this post was featured!
DeleteI love the variety and the foam sticker stamp idea was great! I have been looking for an easy DIY stamp project for a long time. I can't believe I didn't think of that.
ReplyDeleteIt is such an easy way to make stamps. Older kids can use the self adhesive foam and cut out their own shapes too!
DeleteOur oldest (though not too old) went through a foam sticker craze when he was two. Two construction pads full of foam stickers. Needless to say, it got pretty thick! Also needless to say, we overdid it on the foam stickers, going nuts every time they were on sale. Excellent idea with the stamp. It'll at least get rid of a few more stickers :)
ReplyDeleteFor a while we had a ton of those stickers too. One of the other things that we did with them was embellish coloring pages - such as adding 4 leaf clovers and dinosaurs to a picture of jungle foliage.
DeleteAnother thing I have done with stickers with a group of kids is to let them award each other - each child starts the day with a set number, then when they notice someone doing something kind or helpful, they reward them. It always amazes me what a powerful motivator a sticker can be!
